Cafe Mocha

When you're an unpaid intern, there's a beautiful thing that exists called Summer Fridays. Which means on Friday, your weekend starts a day early. My friend Kate and I headed to a coffee shop in the East Village, Cafe Mocha, that I instantly fell in love with. Friendly staff, great menu, amazing atmosphere. It was a beautiful day and the doors were wide open. We drank tea, ate breakfast and talked. Later I read and she wrote. Perfect afternoon.

Life According to Instagram

It's been a whirlwind of almost three weeks since I arrived back in NYC. Here's a couple snaps of the past few weeks.

First Glimpse: DIANA

I could not be more excited for this movie - and it's not just because my name is the title.

I've been waiting and waiting for a Princess Diana biopic and I can't believe it's so close to finally becoming a reality! I think Naomi Watts will do Diana justice and even from the brief shots in the trailer I feel like something very real and true to life has been captured. Of course, since they are tackling a very personal and highly pressurized time in her life, it will be difficult for the film not to have any critics, but I'm definitely hoping for the best. Let's hope this is another "The Queen", because that movie was amazing! Either way, it's sure to be one of my favorites (and some serious Oscar bait). Are you looking forward to seeing Diana?

Milly Resort 2014

I've always loved Milly's fun, bold prints and classic cuts. Resort 2014 is no different. Lusting after silk patterned pants, structured coats and crop tops. See it all at WWD.

Carnival on the High Line

One of my favorite parks in NYC is the High Line. Unlike Washington Square and Central Park, it's not traditional, filled with green space to relax and lots of water: fountains, lakes, ponds, etc. Instead, it's ultra-modern and is set on an old railroad. Needless to say, it's one of a kind and definitely worth a visit whenever you're in NYC.

What's even better than the High Line? A party on the High Line. Coach threw a carnival-themed bash on the High Line last night and it was packed to the brim with celebs. The High Line, celebrities and carnivals: three of my favorite things (I'm a sucker for carnival food and crappy rides).

Naomi Watts

Connie Britton

Zachary Quinto

Leandra Medine -- aka The Man Repeller

Why don't I get invited to these NYC events?

The Best Day Ever

If you follow me on Instagram, you may remember that just over a month ago I ended my abroad experience with a highlight - a huge one. I saw Kate Middleton.

If you should know one thing about me, it's that I live and breathe the British Royal Family. I can't explain my endless fascination with the family, and especially Will & Kate, but it's (slightly) overwhelming and it was especially all encompassing while I was in London. I made it my personal mission to lay eyes on the Duchess herself, and as you can see by these photos, it was successful :)

I waited for nearly four hours total to see her enter and exit a charity reception, but I got to be elbow to elbow with the paparazzi and got some great shots of the Duchess (and her bump!)

It was such an exhilarating experience and one I will never, ever forget.
