Marion to the Fourth
I adore Marion Cotillard. Since she made her big splash stateside with her spellbinding performance as legendary French chanteuse Edith Piaf in La Vie En Rose, (although she had been making films in France since 1993), she's risen to the ranks of Hollywood royalty with parts in box office hits such as Inception, Midnight in Paris and Public Enemies. But this August, Cotillard isn't just making a splash on screens, but in print, too. She's scored the August covers of Elle South Africa, French Vogue, Marie Claire UK, and the biggest one of all - American Vogue, rounding out in a total 4 covers this August. Talk about a girl of the moment - and all in time for the release of her latest movie, the Dark Knight Rises. Will you be picking up any of the Cotillard-clad issues? I'm at least getting my hands on American Vogue because I'm a subscriber, but I really want a copy of the French Vogue - as per usual, it goes beyond simply being a 'screaming' magazine cover and looks sophisticated, glamorous and very haute couture.
