Go To College at Condé Nast

As any magazine major would be, I'm justifably in awe of/love with Condé Nast. The corporation is not only spearheaded by the Newhouse family, who donated an insane amount of money to make my school, the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communicatoins, possible, but also owns some of the top magazines in the world. From personal favorites of mine like Vanity Fair, Vogue, and Glamour to well-respected titles (that I'm a less avid reader of) like Wired, The New Yorker and Bon Appetit, Condé Nast is a dream workplace for anyone looking to break into the world of magazines.

Now, Condé is making it just a bit easier to get an inside look at the brand - with the opening of the first ever Condé Nast College of Art and Design. The college will open in London's Soho neighborhood in January 2013 and will teach both a 10 week course and a year long course to be launched in October 2013. Both courses will focus on fashion, and graduates will earn a "Vogue Fashion Certificate".

The college's webpage claims that they will pave the way for students to make it the world of fashion. Even Condé Nast's president, Nicholas Coleridge, claimed on the website that they would look to the college to staff their teams at their magazines. I don't know about you all, but I'd take a 10 week course in London to get a job at Condé Nast - not a bad idea!
